Target tops up PR team
Target Public Relations, the award-winning agency based in Cheltenham, has appointed two new account executives to its team and made a promotion.
Rachel Worthing, 21, joins Target in her first PR role since completing her History degree at the University of York. Before graduating in July, Rachel also gained valuable experience during work placements at several PR agencies.
Rachel says; "I'm so pleased to have joined the Target team. It's a fantastic opportunity to work with such a diverse range of clients including Specsavers, the British Equestrian Federation and Gloucester Works and I'm really enjoying it."
Also joining the team is Natasha Neal, 20, a student at the University of Gloucestershire who will be working with the company for one year as part of her PR degree.
Natasha says; "I'm thrilled to be working at Target, especially at a time when students are finding it increasingly difficult to find good work placements. I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience and have learnt so much already."
In addition, Rachel Meagher has also been promoted to Account Director after being at Target for more than four years. Rachel continues to work with clients including Saint-Gobain Ecophon, SLG Beauty and Broadleaf.
Sarah Bryars, Managing Director at Target Public Relations, says; "I'm really pleased that we're in a position to help bring new talent into the industry as well as give existing members of the team the opportunities they need to progress, especially in such challenging times."
Target Public Relations was formed in 1996 as part of the Cheltenham-based Target Marketing Group that, since 1977, has built a reputation as a fully integrated marketing communications agency incorporating advertising/design, media, digital and direct marketing.
