news archive Target PR working for Positive Futures

Target Public Relations has been appointed by Crime Concern to support the national Positive Futures programme.

Positive Futures is a national social inclusion programme using sport and leisure activities to engage with disadvantaged and socially marginalized young adults.

The 124 sports and activity based projects run throughout England and Wales – for young people aged 10-19 – create opportunities for personal, educational and career development.

Target PR's work will involve developing opportunities for corporate partnerships between Positive Futures and businesses on a national and regional level, bringing additional opportunities to young people supported by the programme.

Sarah Bryars, head of PR, Target Public Relations said: "We're really excited to be working with Positive Futures and supporting them in their valuable work around the UK."

Gary Stannett, director, Positive Futures said: "Target will be supporting us in the development of new corporate partnerships. These partnerships will allow the programme – which is supported by the Home Office Drug Strategy Unit and managed by Crime Concern – to grow and offer positive futures to even more young people."

Target PR is part of Target Marketing Communications, founded in September 1977, a fully integrated marketing communications agency offering advertising, design, media, public relations, digital and direct marketing.
