Rachel races around the track
After five weeks of dedicated training under the supervision of veteran half-marathon runner and Target studio manager, Stuart Davison, account manager Rachel Meagher successfully completed the Adidas Silverstone half-marathon 2009.
Rachel took part in her first ever half-marathon race on Sunday 15 March, running 13.1 miles around the world famous F1 track in 2 hours and 19 minutes.
Rachel says: "I never thought I’d be able to run that far so I’m really pleased with the result. It was a lovely sunny day and there was a great atmosphere with the supporters cheering everybody on. I’ll definitely run another one!"
