news archive Pointing the nation in the right direction

Did you know that 10,127 people are injured by telephones in UK each year? Briefcases are the cause of another 3,670 accidents and pencils account for 3,342 more injuries!

St John Ambulance is the Nation's number one provider of first aid training and Target have been appointed to devise and execute a campaign to provide first aid guidance and support in different workplaces.

Following their brief, Target launched with an integrated campaign entitled "pointing you in the right direction". The creative utilises the St John Ambulance logo as a directional arrow to point out the risks in a typical work place scenarios, including an office and construction site as well as pointing out the first aid changes that are happening on the 1st October 2009.

The intriguing and compelling creative is running across specific sector press advertising, digital banners, direct e-mailers, seminars and posters supported by the St John Ambulance website. The campaign will also feature an online game for users to test their ability and challenge colleagues or friends to beat their score.

"We appointed Target as they demonstrated an excellent ability to create impact and stand-out within particularly difficult business to business target audiences. The campaign utilises our brand effectively and Target's integrated approach and creative ideas have contributed to what I'm sure will be a successful campaign," says Simon Runton, Marketing Manager, St John Ambulance.
